তীব্র গলা ব্যাথা প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: মুখ/গলা মৌখিক স্বাস্থ্যবিধি; জেল হিসাবে: একবার 1 ইঞ্চি জেল দিয়ে দাঁত ব্রাশ করুন বা প্রায় 1 মিনিটের জন্য বিড করুন। যে কোনো উপাদানের প্রতি অতি সংবেদনশীলতা। ক্লোরহেক্সিডাইন হল একটি অত্যন্ত শক্তিশালী ক্যাটানিক কেমোপ্রোফিল্যাকটিক এজেন্ট যার gm+ve এবং gm-ve ব্যাকটেরিয়ার বিরুদ্ধে ক্রিয়াকলাপের বিস্তৃত বর্ণালী রয়েছে। এটির ঘনত্বের উপর নির্ভর করে এটি ব্যাকটিরিওস্ট্যাটিক এবং ব্যাকটেরিয়াঘটিত উভয়ই। ব্যাকটেরিয়াঘটিত প্রভাব, যা উচ্চ ঘনত্বে অর্জিত হয়, নেতিবাচকভাবে চার্জযুক্ত ব্যাকটেরিয়া কোষের দেয়াল এবং এক্সট্রামাইক্রোবিয়াল কমপ্লেক্সের সাথে ক্যাটানিকের আবদ্ধতার কারণে। ব্যাকটেরিওস্ট্যাটিক প্রভাব কম ঘনত্বে অর্জন করা হয় যা ব্যাকটেরিয়া কোষের অসমোটিক ভারসাম্যের পরিবর্তন এবং পটাসিয়াম এবং ফসফরাসের ফুটো ঘটায়। লিডোকেইন হল একটি অ্যামাইড টাইপের লোকাল অ্যানেসথ। এটি নিউরোনাল মেমব্রেনকে স্থিতিশীল করে এবং না আয়ন আন্দোলনকে বাধা দেয়, যা আবেগ সঞ্চালনের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয়। হৃৎপিণ্ডে, লিডোকেইন ডায়াস্টোলের সময় ভেন্ট্রিকলের ডিপোলারাইজেশন এবং হিস-পুরকিঞ্জে সিস্টেমে স্বয়ংক্রিয়তা হ্রাস করে। কর্ম সম্ভাবনার সময়কাল এবং কার্যকর অবাধ্য সময়কালও হ্রাস পায়। সংবেদনশীল টিস্যু এবং চোখের সাথে যোগাযোগ এড়িয়ে চলুন। শরীরের গহ্বরে ব্যবহার করবেন না৷ এই ওষুধটি ব্যবহার করার পরেই খাওয়া, পান করা বা দাঁত ব্রাশ করা এড়িয়ে চলুন ত্বকের সংবেদনশীলতা; দাঁতের বিপরীতমুখী বাদামী দাগ; জিহ্বার বিবর্ণতা এবং জ্বলন্ত সংবেদন; ক্ষণস্থায়ী স্বাদ ব্যাঘাত; প্যারোটিড গ্রন্থি ফুলে যাওয়া। সম্ভাব্য মারাত্মক: অ্যানাফিল্যাক্সিস। সিমেটিডাইন এবং প্রোপ্রানোললের সাথে সিরামের মাত্রা বাড়াতে পারে। ব্লকার এবং অন্যান্য অ্যান্টিঅ্যারিথমিক্সের সাথে কার্ডিয়াক ডিপ্রেশনের ঝুঁকি বেড়ে যায়। অ্যাডিটিভ কার্ডিয়াক ইফেক্ট w/ IV ফেনাইটোইনের সাথে। অ্যাসিটাজোলামাইড, লুপ মূত্রবর্ধক এবং থিয়াজাইডস দ্বারা সৃষ্ট হাইপোক্যালেমিয়া লিডোকেনের প্রভাবের প্রতিপক্ষ হতে পারে। ফেনাইটোইন এবং অন্যান্য এনজাইম-প্রবর্তকগুলির দীর্ঘমেয়াদী ব্যবহারের সাথে ডোজ প্রয়োজনীয়তা বৃদ্ধি পেতে পারে।

Acute sore throats

Chlorhexidine is a very potent cationic chemoprophylactic agent that has a broad-spectrum of activity against gm+ve and gm-ve bacteria. It is both bacteriostatic and bactericidal depending on its concentration. The bactericidal effect, which is achieved at high concentrations, is due to the binding of the cationic to negatively charged bacterial cell walls and extramicrobial complexes. Bacteriostatic effect is achieved at low concentrations which causes an alteration of bacterial cell osmotic equilibrium and leakage of potassium and phosphorus. Lidocaine is an amide type local anaesth. It stabilises the neuronal membrane and inhibits Na ion movements, which are necessary for conduction of impulses. In the heart, lidocaine reduces depolarisation of the ventricles during diastole and automaticity in the His-Purkinje system. Duration of action potential and effective refractory period are also reduced.

Adult Dose: Adult: Mouth/throat Oral hygiene; As gel: Brush teeth w/ 1 inch of gel once or bid for about 1 min.

Skin sensitivity; reversible brown staining of the teeth; tongue discoloration and burning sensation; transient taste disturbance; parotid gland swelling. Potentially Fatal: Anaphylaxis.

Avoid contact w/ sensitive tissues and eyes. Do not use in body cavities.Avoid eating, drinking, or brushing your teeth just after using this medication

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

May increase serum levels w/ cimetidine and propranolol. Increased risk of cardiac depression w/ ?-blockers and other antiarrhythmics. Additive cardiac effects w/ IV phenytoin. Hypokalaemia caused by acetazolamide, loop diuretics and thiazides may antagonise effect of lidocaine. Dose requirements may be increased w/ long-term use of phenytoin and other enzyme-inducers.
