Description
Toltrazuril (Vet) an anticoccidial agent. Administration

Side effects
Vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite. These are the most common side effects of toltrazuril, especially when administered orally. Lethargy: Toltrazuril can cause lethargy or drowsiness in some animals. Hypersalivation: Toltrazuril can cause increased salivation in some animals. It is well-tolerated at the indicated dosage. However, at high doses, egg drop in layers, growth inhibition in broilers, and polyneuritis may be observed.
Precautions & warnings
Rare adverse effects include egg drop in laying hens, as well as growth inhibition and polyneuritis in broilers. Should provide medicated drinking water as the only source of drinking water.
Contraindications
Toltrazuril should not be used in animals with: Known hypersensitivity to toltrazuril. Severe liver or kidney disease.
Drug interactions
Toltrazuril liquid is compatible with other poultry feed additives, and there have been no recorded adverse effects.
