Description
Vitamin E + Selenium (Vet) is indicated in the prevention and treatment of vitamin deficiencies in animals, e.g. encephalomalacia, muscular dystrophy, decreased hatchability in eggs, infertility problems in calves, goats, poultry, sheep and swine. Also prevention of iron- intoxication after administration of iron to piglets. Vitamin E + Selenium (Vet) work synergistically as antioxidants They help neutralize free radicals and oxidative stress Vitamin E + Selenium (Vet) protects cells and tissues from damage.
Indications
Use Vitamin E + Selenium (Vet) as an antioxidant.
Mechanism of action
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative damage.Selenium is a cofactor for the antioxidant enzyme glutathione peroxidase, which also protects cells from oxidative stress.
Administration
Take Vitamin E + Selenium (Vet) in the dose and duration as advised by Registered Veterinary Physician.

Precautions & warnings
Excess vitamin E and selenium supplementation can lead to toxicity, so careful dosing is importan.Medicated drinking water should be replaced every 24 hours.
Contraindications
The combination should be used with caution in animals with pre-existing liver or kidney disease, as the metabolites of these nutrients may accumulate.Contraindicated in livestock & poultry hypersensitive to Vitamin E &/or Selenium.
Drug interactions
