কনজাংটিভাল ডিকনজেস্ট্যান্ট, তীব্র এবং দীর্ঘস্থায়ী অ-সংক্রামক কনজেক্টিভাইটিস, অ-নির্দিষ্ট কনজাংটিভাল জ্বালা, ব্যাকটেরিয়া এবং ভাইরাল কনজাংটিভাইটিস, টিয়ার নালির সেচ অকুলার ভাসোকনস্ট্রিক্টর/ডিকনজেস্ট্যান্ট চোখের জ্বালা থেকে সৃষ্ট চোখের লালচে অস্থায়ী উপশম এবং শুষ্ক চোখের কারণে জ্বালাপোড়া বা জ্বালা থেকে মুক্তি প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের: কনজেক্টিভাল থলিতে 1-2 ফোঁটা, দিনে তিন থেকে 4 বার। Ocular Vasoconstrictor/decongestant 1 ড্রপ কনজেক্টিভাল থলিতে, দিনে তিন থেকে 4 বার। জিঙ্ক সালফেট, নাফাজোলিন এবং অন্যান্য উপাদানের প্রতি অত্যধিক সংবেদনশীলতা। নাজিন সংকীর্ণ-কোণ গ্লুকোমা, শুষ্ক চোখ এবং বিশেষ করে কেরাটোকনজাঙ্কটিভিটস সিকা (সজোগ্রেনের সিন্ড্রোম) রোগীদের জন্য নিরোধক। শিশুদের মধ্যে নাজিন ব্যবহার করা উচিত নয়। Naphazoline, একটি ইমিডাজোলিন ডেরিভেটিভ সিম্পাথোমিমেটিক অ্যামাইন, কনজাংটিভা এবং নাকের মিউকোসার ধমনীতে আলফা-অ্যাড্রেনারজিক রিসেপ্টরকে উদ্দীপিত করে ভাসোকনস্ট্রিকশন তৈরি করে। জিঙ্ক সালফেট: অ্যাস্ট্রিনজেন্ট। গ্লুকোমার প্রবণতা এবং উচ্চ রক্তচাপ, কার্ডিওভাসকুলার রোগ, ফিওক্রোমোসাইটোমা, অ্যানিউরিজম, হাইপারগ্লাইসেমিয়া এবং হাইপারথাইরয়েডিজম আক্রান্ত রোগীদের মধ্যে। মাইড্রিয়াসিস এবং বিচ্ছিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে ইন্ট্রাওকুলার চাপের সামান্য বৃদ্ধি। ইনস্টিলেশনের পরে সামান্য এবং ক্ষণস্থায়ী জ্বলন্ত সংবেদন ঘটতে পারে। দীর্ঘমেয়াদী ব্যবহারের ফলে চোখের প্রতিক্রিয়াশীল লালভাব হতে পারে (প্রতিবার প্রভাব)। খুব বিরল ক্ষেত্রে সিস্টেমিক কার্ডিওভাসকুলার প্রভাব, যেমন হাইপারটেনশন এবং অ্যারিথমিয়া ঘটতে পারে। কিছু রোগীদের মধ্যে অনির্দিষ্ট ক্লান্তি পরিলক্ষিত হয়েছে।
Indications
Conjunctival decongestant, Acute and chronic non-infectious conjunctivitis, Nonspecific conjunctival irritation, Bacterial and viral conjunctivitis, Irrigation of the tear ducts
Mechanism of action
Naphazoline, an imidazoline derivative sympathomimetic amine, produces vasoconstriction by stimulating the alpha-adrenergic receptors in the arterioles of the conjunctiva and the nasal mucosa. Zinc sulfate: Astringent.
Dosage
Adult Dose: Ocular Vasoconstrictor/Decongestant Temporary relief of ocular redness caused by irritation and relief of burning or irritation caused by dry eyes Adults: 1-2 drops in the conjunctival sac, three to 4 times per day. Child Dose: Ocular Vasoconstrictor/Decongestant 1 drop in the conjunctival sac, three to 4 times per day.
Side effects
Mydriasis and a slight increase of intraocular pressure in isolated cases. A slight and transient burning sensation may occur after instillation. Long term use may result in reactive redness of the eye (rebound effect). In very rare cases systemic cardiovascular effects, such as hypertension and arrhythmia, may occur. Nonspecific fatigue has been observed in some patients.
Precautions & warnings
Patients with predisposition to glaucoma and in patients suffering from hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, pheochromocytoma, aneurysm, hyperglycemia, and hyperthyroidism.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to zinc sulphate, Naphazoline and other ingredients. Nazin is contraindicated in patients suffering from narrow-angle glaucoma, dry eye and especially keratoconjunctivits sicca (Sjogren's syndrome). Nazin must not be used in infants.
