Dr. Fauzia Nahid

FCPS (Paediatrics), Neurology NICU Teaching, Paediatrics

Dr. Fauzia Nahid completed her MBBS from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College, Barisal, in 2004. She obtained her FCPS in Paediatrics in July 2016 and later completed her Fellowship in Paediatric Neurology (FCPS) from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in January 2024. Dr. Nahid's extensive experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor of Paediatrics and as the NICU In-Charge at Dhaka Central International Medical College from 2017 to 2020, following her role as a Medical Officer in the NICU from 2014 to 2017. She worked as a Resident Physician at the National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital from 2020 to 2023, during which she completed her specialization in Paediatric Neurology. Additionally, she served as an Honorary Medical Officer at BSMMU from 2006 to 2007 and from 2009 to 2010, as well as at Dhaka Shishu Hospital from 2012 to 2013. Currently, Dr. Nahid is an Assistant Professor in the Paediatrics Department of Green Life Medical College as of 2024. She has over four years of teaching experience and six publications related to child health and neurological issues in reputable national and international journals. Dr. Nahid is actively involved in consulting for Paediatric and Paediatric Neurology patients in the outpatient department (OPD).
