Dr. Kazi Atiqur Rahman

Dr. Kazi Atiqur Rahman is an MBBS, MD (Cardiology), MD (USA), MRCP (UK), and FRCP (Edinburgh) qualified Interventional Cardiologist and a Gold Medallist in the MRCP (UK) Examination. He obtained his MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College (SSMC), his MD in Cardiology from the National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease (NICVD), Dhaka, and his MD from the USA. He received his MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, London, and his FRCP from Edinburgh. He currently serves as Senior Consultant, Department of Cardiology Care Centre at Evercare Hospital Dhaka, where he has been working for more than 9 years. He worked for more than 10 years at King Salman Heart Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, one of the leading international cardiac centres in the region. He has performed more than 1,500 cases of Coronary Angioplasty and has extensive experience in Transcutaneous Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) and Pacemaker Implantation. He has also worked at NICVD, BSMMU, Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital, and Rangpur Medical College and Hospital.
