Dr. Mariha Alam Chowdhury completed her MBBS degree from Bangladesh Medical College in 2010, and completed her postgraduate degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology and FCPS (Part 2) in 2015. During this time, she was trained in Dhaka Medical College, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College, and BSMMU. She also completed MRCOG (Part 1), a postgraduate degree in OBGYN in the UK. Dr. Alam has a diploma in medical ultrasound and completed a certified course on Diabetology from BIRDEM Hospital. She has also done a clinical attachment at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney in 2009. Dr. Alam worked as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist under the Ministry of Health in the Maldives from 2015 to 2016 and was most recently a Specialist in the department of OBGYN at the United Hospital. Dr. Alam also worked as an O&G registrar in Westmead Hospital, NSW, Australia. Currently, she is working as a registrar in O&G at Campbeltown Hospital, NSW, Australia. She is still continuing to serve patients in Bangladesh via telehealth at Praava as a Consultant O&G.
