Dr. Md. Salahuddin Rahaman

Dr. Md. Salahuddin Rahaman, MBBS, MS (CTS), FCPS, MRCS (Edinburgh), FACS (USA) is a preeminent cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon in Bangladesh, celebrated for his exceptional academic credentials and clinical leadership. He earned his MBBS and MS in Cardiothoracic Surgery, and further distinguished himself by attaining memberships and fellowships in prestigious institutions: FCPS, MRCS (Edinburgh), and FACS (USA) .

With over 23 years of surgical excellence, Dr. Salahuddin has served as a Consultant at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases and practices regularly at Universal Medical College Hospital in Dhaka . His expertise encompasses a wide spectrum of advanced cardiac procedures—including atrial fibrillation surgery, congenital defect repair, cardiac transplantation, robotic and minimally invasive techniques, CABG, valve replacements, and complex aortic interventions—as well as endovascular and coronary interventions .
