Dr. Monowara Begum

Dr. Monowara Begum is a reputed Gynecologist and Obstetrician in the country with more than 30 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She graduated from Rajshahi Medical College and served 20 years in Government Service in different hospitals throughout Dhaka. After graduation she underwent extensive training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She worked in Institute of Post-graduate Medicine and Research (IPGM&R) and in Sir Salimullah Medical College as Assistant Registrar and Resident Surgeon. She obtained FCPS from BCPS and later MS from University of Dhaka. Other than routine Obstetrics & Gynaecology work, she has wide experience in Advanced Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgery for Infertility and Gynaecology and has been trained in Kerala, Madras and Delhi of India. She has performed over 1,500 total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy. She has completed her fellowship in Minimally Access Surgery on Gynae Oncology from Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital & Research Center. Before Joining Evercare Hospital Dhaka, she was working as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Shahbuddin Medical College Hospital, Dhaka.
