Dr. Saikat Das Gupta graduated (MBBS) from the University of Science and Technology, Chittagong, and completed his Master of Surgery (MS) in Cardiothoracic Surgery from the National Heart Foundation of Bangladesh. Dr. Saikat has 17 years of clinical experience in cardiac surgery. He served as Registrar in the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the National Heart Foundation of Bangladesh. He has keen interest in developing Thoracoscopic and Robotic Cardiac Surgery in Bangladesh.
He is capable of managing Beating Heart Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (OP-CABG), Valve replacement or repair, Myxoma, Atrial Septal Defect repair, Septal Myectomy, Ventricular Septal Rupture, and Aortic Aneurysm/Dissections.
