Prof. (Major Gen.) Dr. Golam Mohiuddin Chowdhury

Prof. (Major Gen.) Dr. Golam Mohiuddin Chowdhury is a Senior Consultant in Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery at Evercare Hospital Dhaka. He is a renowned Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and pioneer of Oral Implantology in Bangladesh. He graduated BDS from Dhaka Dental College in 1982 and completed FCPS in OMF Surgery from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2007. He joined Apollo Hospitals Dhaka in 2010 as Consultant Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and was appointed Consultant Dental Surgeon General of the Directorate General of Medical Service in 2017. He received training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Armed Forces Institute of Dentistry, Pakistan, Implant Surgery from Singapore, TMJ Arthroscopy from Germany, and Advanced Implant Training from Malaysia. He served as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at various CMHs and is President of the Dental Implant Association of Bangladesh and Vice President of the Bangladesh Oral Cancer Society.
