He has received comprehensive training in acute and chronic trauma management, joint replacement (knee & hip), arthroscopic surgery, and spinal procedures, including fellowships in Arthroscopy, Joint Replacement & Spine Surgery in India .
Currently, Prof. Dr. Major Abdul Mannan (Retd.) practices as Senior Consultant in Orthopaedics, Trauma & Spine Surgery at Asgar Ali Hospital, Dhaka, and serves as a Professor of Orthopaedics at Sher‑E‑Bangla Medical College and Hospital.
