Pharmacology
Contains camphor, ajwain, peppermint, eucalyptus oil, caraway, aniseed, and ginger. These ingredients possess antiseptic, analgesic, carminative, antispasmodic, and anti-inflammatory properties.
Mechanism of action
Acts by stimulating gastric secretion, relieving gastrointestinal spasms, clearing upper respiratory mucus, and inhibiting inflammatory mediators.
Dosage
Children: 1-2 drops 2-3 times daily. Adults: 2-4 drops 3-4 times daily (not more than 4 times daily) or as directed by the physician.
