Description
Aloe indica royle + Hyoscyamus niger + Piper nigrum is a Unani medicine formulated with natural ingredients. Aloe indica royle contains anthrone-10-C-glycosyls (aloin A, aloin B, 7-hydroxyaloin) and 1,8-dihydroxy anthraquinone (aloe-emodin) which act as colonic-specific stimulant laxatives, increasing colonic motility. Aloe effectively reduces acid reflux symptoms and acts as an anti-inflammatory agent. Hyoscyamus niger contains hyoscyamine and scopolamine alkaloids which provide symptomatic relief from peptic ulcers, IBS, colic and cystitis. Piper nigrum stimulates thermal receptors and increases secretion of saliva and gastric mucus.

Aloe indica royle contains anthrone glycosyls and anthraquinones which act as colonic-specific stimulant laxatives, increasing colonic motility and inhibiting water and electrolyte secretion. A 2015 study found that aloe effectively reduced acid reflux symptoms and acts as an anti-inflammatory agent. Hyoscyamus niger alkaloids provide symptomatic relief from peptic ulcers, IBS, colic and cystitis. Piper nigrum stimulates thermal receptors, increases saliva and gastric mucus secretion, and influences liver metabolic functions.
Mechanism of action
Aloe increases colonic motility to relieve constipation and reduces inflammation in acid reflux; Hyoscyamus relieves intestinal spasms; Piper nigrum improves digestion by increasing digestive enzyme secretion. The combined action of these three ingredients helps heal various stomach and intestinal conditions.
Dosage
Adults: 1-2 tablets daily at bedtime, or as directed by the physician.
Administration
Take the tablet with a glass of water before bedtime. Swallow the tablet whole or crush and mix with water if needed. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
Missed dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Side effects
Common side effects: Rarely, allergic reactions may occur. Chronic use may cause loss of electrolytes (potassium) which reverses upon discontinuation.
