Description
অম্বল, বদহজম, গ্যাস্ট্রিক হাইপারঅ্যাসিডিটি, পেপটিক আলসার রোগ, খাবারের সাথে বা খাবার ছাড়া নেওয়া যেতে পারে। মৌখিক প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: দৈনিক 1 গ্রাম পর্যন্ত। দীর্ঘস্থায়ী রেনাল ব্যর্থতার রোগীদের হাইপারফোসফেটেমিয়া প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: ডোজ পৃথক রোগীর প্রয়োজনের সাথে সামঞ্জস্য করা হয়। খাবারের সাথে বিভক্ত মাত্রায় 10 গ্রাম/দিন পর্যন্ত দেওয়া যেতে পারে। সর্বাধিক ডোজ: বিভক্ত ডোজগুলিতে প্রতিদিন 10 গ্রাম। অ্যালুমিনিয়াম লবণের জন্য অতি সংবেদনশীলতা। অ্যালুমিনিয়াম হাইড্রোক্সাইড নিরপেক্ষকরণের মাধ্যমে পাকস্থলীর HCl-এর উপর কাজ করে, অ্যালুমিনিয়াম ক্লোরাইড লবণ এবং জল তৈরি করে। দীর্ঘস্থায়ী রেনাল বৈকল্য; CHF; শোথ; সিরোসিস এবং কম Na ডায়েট; সাম্প্রতিক GI রক্তক্ষরণ রোগীদের। ওষুধের মিথস্ক্রিয়া কমাতে অন্য ওষুধের আগে/পরে 2-3 ঘন্টা পরিচালনা করুন। গর্ভাবস্থা এবং স্তন্যদান। কোষ্ঠকাঠিন্য; অন্ত্রের বাধা (বড় ডোজ সহ); দীর্ঘায়িত অ্যাডমিন বা বড় ডোজ সহ ফসফেট হ্রাস ঘটতে পারে। সাইট্রেট বা অ্যাসকরবিক অ্যাসিডের সাথে বর্ধিত শোষণ। অ্যালোপিউরিনল, টেট্রাসাইক্লাইনস, কুইনোলোনস, সেফালোস্পোরিনস, বাইফসফোনেট ডেরিভেটিভস, কর্টিকোস্টেরয়েডস, সাইক্লোস্পোরিন, ডেলাভার্ডিন, ফে সল্ট, ইমিডাজল অ্যান্টিফাঙ্গাল, আইসোনিয়াজিড, মাইকোফেনোলেট, পেনিসিলাটেটোথেনফিনেস, ট্রাইফিনেসফিনেস, ট্রাইফিন, ট্রাইফ্যান্সিফিন, শোষণ হ্রাস করে।

Mechanism of action
Alumunium hydroxide acts on the HCl in the stomach by neutralization, forming aluminium chloride salt and water.
Dosage
Adult Dose: Oral Adult: Up to 1 g daily. Hyperphosphataemia in patients with chronic renal failure Adult: Dose is adjusted to the individual patient's requirement. Up to 10 g/day may be given in divided doses with meals. Max Dosage: 10 g daily in divided doses.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Side effects
Constipation; intestinal obstruction (with large doses); phosphate depletion may occur with prolonged admin or large doses.
Precautions & warnings
Chronic renal impairment; CHF; oedema; cirrhosis and low Na diets; patients with recent GI haemorrhage. Administer 2-3 hrs before/after another medication to minimise drug interactions. Pregnancy and lactation.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to aluminium salts.
Drug interactions
Enhanced absorption with citrates or ascorbic acid. Decreases absorption of allopurinol, tetracyclines, quinolones, cephalosporins, biphosphonate derivatives, corticosteroids, cyclosporin, delavirdine, Fe salts, imidazole antifungals, isoniazid, mycophenolate, penicillamine, phosphate supplements, phenytoin, phenothiazines, trientine.
