Indications
Cerebral insufficiency, stroke, loss of speech, unconsciousness, paralysis, urinary retention due to CVD, nervous debility, and dementia.

Pharmacology
Contains arecoline and alkaloids that act as parasympathomimetic agents to dilate cerebral blood vessels and enhance brain metabolism.
Mechanism of action
Increases cerebral blood flow and directly stimulates brain cells via alkaloids.
Dosage
Adult: 1 teaspoonful 4 times daily after meals. Children: As directed by physician. Continue for at least 3 months post-stroke.
Administration
Oral administration after meals. Shake well before use.
Missed dose
Take as soon as remembered.
Side effects
Diarrhea, bronchospasm, palpitation, and precipitation of asthma.
