At a glance

Boswellia Serrata + Boron is a combination tablet used for superior support for aging joints, osteoarthritis, and joint discomfort. It contains Undenatured Type II collagen, Glucosamine sulfate, Boswellia serrata, and Boron which support joint comfort and ease of motion.

Description

Boswellia Serrata + Boron is a multi-nutrient formula used for aging joints, osteoarthritis, and joint pain and inflammation. Each tablet contains: Undenatured Type II collagen 20 mg, Glucosamine sulfate 750 mg, Boswellia serrata 50 mg, and Boron (Calcium fructoborate) 0.75 mg.

Undenatured Type II collagen is derived from chicken sternum cartilage using a patented low-temperature, non-enzymatic manufacturing process that preserves the natural triple helix molecular configuration and biological activity. Boswellia serrata promotes joint health by inhibiting inflammatory factors such as the 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) enzyme and leukotriene B4. Boron (Calcium fructoborate) contributes to bone health by controlling inflammation associated with loss of bone mineral density.

Indications

Pharmacology

Undenatured Type II collagen is a nutritional supplement derived from chicken sternum cartilage using a patented low-temperature, non-enzymatic manufacturing process that preserves the natural triple helix molecular configuration and biological activity. It contains active binding sites called epitopes which trigger oral tolerization. Glucosamine sulfate is a normal constituent of glycosaminoglycans in cartilage matrix and synovial fluid. Boswellia serrata inhibits 5-LOX enzyme and leukotriene B4 to reduce inflammation. Boron (Calcium fructoborate) is a patented complex that reduces C-reactive protein and supports bone health.

Mechanism of action
  • Undenatured Type II collagen: Interacts with Peyer's patches in the small intestine, transforming T-cells into T regulatory cells, which migrate to joint areas and secrete anti-inflammatory cytokines (TGF-β and IL-10), reducing joint inflammation and promoting cartilage repair.
  • Glucosamine sulfate: Helps build cartilage and prevents joint structure changes in osteoarthritis with significant symptom improvement.
  • Boswellia serrata: Inhibits 5-LOX enzyme, reducing inflammatory leukotriene production and helping prevent cartilage damage.
  • Boron (Calcium fructoborate): Reduces CRP and controls inflammation associated with bone mineral density loss, supporting bone health.
