Pharmacology
Chandanasav is an Ayurvedic formulation prepared from sandalwood (Chandan) and various herbal ingredients. It helps in preventing urinary tract infections, reducing inflammation, and acts as a diuretic. The cooling and soothing properties of sandalwood help reduce urinary burning sensation and pain.
Mechanism of action
Chandanasav provides cooling and soothing effects on the urinary tract, reduces inflammation, and relieves urinary burning and pain through its diuretic action.
Dosage
Dosage: 2-3 teaspoons (10-15 ml) 2-3 times daily, or as advised by a Hakim (Ayurvedic physician).
Packing: 400 ml syrup.
Administration
Take the prescribed dose 2-3 times daily or as advised by a Hakim. Shake well before use.
Missed dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.

- Overdose may cause stomach discomfort or nausea.
