Clobetasol Propionate + Terbinafine Hydrochloride + Ofloxacin + Ornidazole is a combination cream which exhibits anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-protozoal & anti-inflammatory actions. Ofloxacin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that acts against many gram-positive & gram-negative bacteria. Ornidazole belongs to the nitroimidazole group of antibiotics and is used to treat amoeba and trichomonas infections. Terbinafine is an Allylamine antifungal that inhibits biosynthesis of Ergosterol (an essential component of fungal cell membrane) via inhibition of Squalene Epoxidase enzyme causing fungal cell death. Clobetasol is a potent corticosteroid which exhibits anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic and vasoconstrictive properties.

Pharmacology

This cream is a combination cream which exhibits anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-protozoal & anti-inflammatory actions. Ofloxacin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that acts against many gram-positive & gram-negative bacteria. Mechanism of action

Ofloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase. Terbinafine inhibits squalene epoxidase, preventing fungal cell wall formation. Ornidazole damages DNA of anaerobic bacteria and protozoa. Clobetasol reduces inflammation and itching by blocking inflammatory mediators.

Dosage

Adult & Pediatric Dose: Apply by gently rubbing onto the affected area twice daily.

Administration

This cream is for external use only. Wash your hands before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply a small amount of cream. Gently massage into the skin. Wash hands after application (unless hands are the affected area).

Missed dose

If you miss a dose of this cream, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next application, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.
