Each tablet contains: Snake root (Rauwolfia serpentina) root 151.52 mg, Potassium bromide B.P 75.76 mg, Magnesium carbonate 18.94 mg, Silicate of alumina with magnesia 3.78 mg.

The main ingredient is Snake root (Rauwolfia serpentina), it acts as an ideal tranquilizer and anti-psychotic. This is very effective in insomnia, hysteria, epilepsy, violent mania, schizophrenia, severe persistent headache, tension and irritated conditions of CNS.

Pharmacology

Fishar is an effective medicine to normalize hypertension and anxiety. The main ingredient is Snake root (Rauwolfia serpentina), it acts as an ideal tranquilizer and anti-psychotic. This is very effective in insomnia, hysteria, epilepsy, violent mania, schizophrenia, severe persistent headache, tension and irritated conditions of CNS.

Mechanism of action

Snake root reduces blood pressure and provides sedative effects through reserpine and other alkaloids that deplete catecholamine stores in the CNS; potassium and magnesium maintain electrolyte balance.

Dosage

Adult Dose:

  • 1-2 tablet(s) twice daily or as prescribed by the physician.
Administration

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. May be taken with or without food.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible; however, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose.
