Description
iota-Carrageenan Nasal Spray is a natural carrageenan-based nasal spray that forms a protective barrier inside the nose. It helps reduce viral attachment to the nasal mucosa, relieves dryness, and supports the management of common cold symptoms.

Pharmacology
iota-Carrageenan is a natural polysaccharide derived from edible red seaweed. It forms a protective film over the nasal mucosa, reducing viral attachment while keeping the nasal passages moist and protected.
Mechanism of action
Forms a protective barrier in the nose. Prevents viral adhesion to the nasal mucosa. Helps reduce viral spread. Moisturizes the nasal lining. Protects against dryness and irritants.
Dosage
Adults and children over 1 year: Cold or flu symptoms: 1–2 sprays into each nostril, 1–4 times daily. Dry nasal mucosa: A few sprays several times daily as needed.
Administration
Shake well before use. Prime the spray before first use. Clear the nostrils before spraying. Replace the cap after each use. Clean the nozzle at least once weekly. Do not share the spray bottle.
Missed dose
Use it as soon as you remember. Do not use extra sprays to make up for a missed dose.
Side effects
Generally well tolerated. Rare hypersensitivity reactions. Mild nasal irritation or burning may occur.
Precautions & warnings
