Description
This syrup contains Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex (50 mg elemental Iron), Thiamine Hydrochloride (5 mg), Riboflavin (2 mg), Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (2 mg), Nicotinamide (20 mg) and Zinc Sulphate (10 mg elemental Zinc). Iron Polymaltose Complex facilitates controlled iron absorption. Due to non-ionic nature, this complex is more stable than conventional Iron form.

Pharmacology
Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex facilitates controlled absorption of iron when it comes in contact with mucosal cell surface. Due to non-ionic nature, this complex is more stable than conventional Iron form. Zinc is a cofactor in many enzymes, plays a role in DNA synthesis, and supports immune system. Vitamin B complex plays a role in synthesis and maintenance of coenzyme A and is necessary for lipid and carbohydrate metabolism.
Mechanism of action
Iron Polymaltose Complex facilitates controlled iron absorption; Zinc supports DNA synthesis and immune system; Vitamin B complex maintains cell health.
Dosage
Adult Dose (Oral):
- 5-10 ml (1-2 teaspoonful) 3 times daily
Child Dose (Oral):
- 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) 3 times daily
- Infants: 0.33 ml/kg body weight daily
Administration
Take in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor; measure with a measuring cup; take on empty stomach.

Precautions:
- Caution in conditions where there is a risk of iron overload (hemochromatosis, thalassemia, haemosiderosis or hemolytic anemia)
