Description
Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) is the most common and widely used disinfectant. 70% Isopropyl Alcohol solution acts as a disinfectant killing all surface microorganisms. Hydrogen peroxide is used to inactivate contaminating bacterial spores in the solution. Glycerol is used as a humectant for skin care. This combination is an effective hand sanitizer.

Pharmacology
Isopropyl Alcohol has antibacterial properties. 70% isopropyl alcohol solution kills microorganisms by dissolving plasma membrane of the cell wall. Hydrogen peroxide is used to inactivate contaminating bacterial spores in the solution. Glycerol is used as a humectant.

Dosage
Adult Dose (Topical):
- Apply product to the palm of one hand
- Rub hands together
- Rub over all surfaces of hands and fingers until hands are dry
Administration
For external use only; apply to palm; rub until dry; discontinue if skin irritation occurs; avoid contact with eyes.
Missed dose
Not applicable (topical sanitizer).
