Description

Jogaraj Guggulu is a proper preparation of different herbs, therapeutically effective in rheumatoid disorder. It contains Commiphora mukul (Guggulu) 250 mg extract with Plumbago zeylanicum, Piper longum, Trachyspermum ammi, Nigella sativa, Cuminum cyminum, Cedrus deodara, Apium graveolans, Elettaria cardamomum, Saussurea lappa, Tribulus terrestris, Terminalia chebula, Emblica officinalis, Terminalia belerica and other ingredients. Due to the presence of guggulsterone E & Z, it has analgesic & anti-inflammatory properties.

Pharmacology

Guggulsterone E & Z from Commiphora mukul are responsible for anti-inflammatory activity. Piperine from Piper longum has anti-inflammatory activity. Gallic acid from Terminalia chebula & Terminalia belerica and ascorbic acid from Emblica officinalis are responsible for antioxidant activity. Flavonoids from Plumbago zeylanicum inhibit prostaglandin synthesis to reduce pain.

Mechanism of action

Guggulsterone inhibits NF-kappa-B activation for anti-inflammatory effect; Flavonoids inhibit prostaglandin synthesis for pain relief; Thymoquinone inhibits nociceptive system to reduce pain.

Dosage

Adult Dose (Oral):

  • 1 capsule 2-3 times a day after meals
  • As advised by the physician

Child Dose (Oral):

  • 1 capsule 1/2 times daily
Administration

Administered only orally; take 1 capsule 2-3 times daily after meals; as advised by the physician.

Missed dose

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible; if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to regular schedule; do not double the dose.
