Photoderm Sunscreen is used for photo-protection. Available in formulations for normal to dry skin, oily and acne-prone skin, oily to combination skin, sun spots and photo-aging, with mineral filters, providing protection against UVA/UVB rays.
Description
Photoderm is available in various formulations: Cream SPF50+ (normal-dry skin), AKN Mat Fluid SPF30 (oily & acne-prone), Aquafluide SPF50+ (oily-combination skin), Spot Age SPF50+ (sun spots, wrinkles, photo-aging), and Compact Mineral SPF50+ (normal-dry skin). Contains ectoin, mannitol, vitamin C, vitamin E, centella asiatica, and various UV filters to protect skin from UVA/UVB rays.

Pharmacology
Photoderm products combine UV filters, antioxidants, and skin-defense ingredients. Ectoin and mannitol boost natural skin defense and protect cells. Vitamin C and E act as antioxidants. Centella asiatica boosts collagen production. Various UV filters absorb UVA and UVB rays, protecting skin from harmful effects of the sun.
Mechanism of action
Absorbs UVA/UVB rays via UV filters and protects skin cells via antioxidants.
Dosage
For all formulations:
- Apply 20 minutes before sun exposure/cooking time daily
Administration
- Apply 20 minutes before sun exposure
- Use daily
- Reapply as needed
Missed dose
If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember; skip if it's almost time for next application; do not double the dose.
