Description
Sodium Hyaluronate + Ectoine is a combination eye drop. Sodium Hyaluronate provides long-lasting lubrication to the eye surface; Ectoine stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film to prevent evaporation and forms a physiologic barrier on the conjunctiva against allergenic substances.

Pharmacology
Sodium Hyaluronate forms a stable, long-lasting lubricating film on the eye surface. Ectoine stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film to prevent evaporation and increases water binding to conjunctival cells, creating a physiologic barrier against allergens. This dual action maintains eye surface moisture and relieves allergy-related symptoms.

Dosage
Adults and Children ≥6 years:
- Instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac of each eye three times daily
- May be used more frequently (consult an ophthalmologist if >10 times/day)
Administration
- For ophthalmic use only
- Do not touch dropper tip to eye or skin
- Replace cap immediately after use
- If wearing contact lenses, wait 30 minutes after insertion before applying drops
Missed dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember; if almost time for the next dose, skip it; do not double the dose.
Side effects
Side Effects (Rare):
- Hypersensitivity reactions
- Burning, excessive tearing, pain, foreign body sensation
- Temporary blurred vision
- Transient headache in sensitive patients
