সুপারফিসিয়াল ডার্মাটোফাইট সংক্রমণ, পিটিরিয়াসিস ভার্সিকলার টপিকাল/কিউটেনিয়াস সুপারফিশিয়াল ডার্মাটোফাইট সংক্রমণ; পিটিরিয়াসিস ভার্সিকলার প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: 2-6 সপ্তাহের জন্য ক্রিম বিড প্রয়োগ করুন; প্রয়োজন হলে পুনরাবৃত্তি করুন। সংক্রমণের পুনরাবৃত্তি রোধ করতে সমস্ত লক্ষণ অদৃশ্য হওয়ার পরে 2 সপ্তাহের জন্য চিকিত্সা চালিয়ে যান। টপিকাল/কিউটেনিয়াস সুপারফিশিয়াল ডার্মাটোফাইট সংক্রমণ; পিটিরিয়াসিস ভার্সিকলার শিশু: 2-6 সপ্তাহের জন্য ক্রিম বিড প্রয়োগ করুন; প্রয়োজন হলে পুনরাবৃত্তি করুন। সংক্রমণের পুনরাবৃত্তি রোধ করতে সমস্ত লক্ষণ অদৃশ্য হওয়ার পরে 2 সপ্তাহের জন্য চিকিত্সা চালিয়ে যান। অতি সংবেদনশীলতা। নখ এবং মাথার ত্বকের সংক্রমণ। Tolnaftate হল একটি অ্যান্টিফাঙ্গাল যা ডার্মাটোফাইটের বৃদ্ধিকে বাধা দেয় যেমন এপিডার্মোফাইটন, মাইক্রোস্পোরাম, ট্রাইকোফাইটন এসপিপি এবং ম্যালাসেজিয়া ফুরফুর হাইফাইকে বিকৃত করে এবং মাইসেলিয়ালের বৃদ্ধি বন্ধ করে। এটি ক্যান্ডিডা এসপিপি বা ব্যাকটেরিয়ার বিরুদ্ধে নিষ্ক্রিয়। চোখের এক্সপোজার। শুধুমাত্র বাহ্যিক ব্যাবহারের জন্য. 10 দিনের মধ্যে অবস্থার উন্নতি না হলে চিকিত্সা বন্ধ করুন। জ্বালা, pruritus, যোগাযোগ ডার্মাটাইটিস।

Superficial dermatophyte infections, pityriasis versicolor
Mechanism of action
Tolnaftate is an antifungal which inhibits growth of dermatophytes e.g. Epidermophyton, Microsporum, trichophyton spp, and Malassezia furfur by distorting the hyphae and stopping mycelial growth. It is inactive against Candida spp or bacteria.
Dosage
Adult Dose: Topical/Cutaneous Superficial dermatophyte infections; Pityriasis versicolor Adult: Apply cream bid for 2-6 wk; repeat if necessary. Continue treatment for 2 wk after disappearance of all symptoms to prevent recurrence of infection. Child Dose: Topical/Cutaneous Superficial dermatophyte infections; Pityriasis versicolor Child: Apply cream bid for 2-6 wk; repeat if necessary. Continue treatment for 2 wk after disappearance of all symptoms to prevent recurrence of infection.
Side effects
Irritation, pruritus, contact dermatitis.
Precautions & warnings
Exposure to eyes. For external use only. Discontinue treatment if condition does not improve within 10 days.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Nail and scalp infections.
