Description
Triamcinolone acetonide is a potent fluorinated corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and anti-allergic actions. Neomycin and Gramicidin provide antibacterial therapy. Nystatin is an antifungal active against yeast-like fungi including Candida albicans.

Pharmacology
Triamcinolone acetonide is a potent fluorinated corticosteroid with rapid anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and anti-allergic actions. Neomycin and Gramicidin provide comprehensive antibacterial therapy against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Nystatin is active against yeast-like fungi including Candida albicans.
Mechanism of action
Corticosteroid reduces inflammation; antibiotics kill bacteria; antifungal kills fungi.
Dosage
Adult and Child Dose (Topical):
- Apply to affected areas two to four times daily
Elderly Dose: Use sparingly and for short periods due to natural thinning of skin
Administration
- For topical use only
- Clean and dry affected area
- Do not bandage, wrap or cover unless directed by doctor
- Use carefully if applying to the face
- Avoid contact with eyes and mouth
Missed dose
If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered; if near time for next dose, skip it; do not double the dose.

Precautions & warnings
- Use carefully in patients with hypersensitivity reactions
- Contraindicated in tuberculous, viral (herpes simplex, varicella), fungal lesions not susceptible to nystatin, facial rosacea, acne vulgaris, perioral dermatitis
- Do not apply to external auditory canal in patients with perforated tympanic membranes
- Not recommended for children under 1 year
