Description

This combination works by cleansing the skin and reducing the chance of infection. Light liquid paraffin helps restore moisture in the skin. Triclosan is antibacterial and benzalkonium chloride is antiseptic.

Pharmacology

This combination works by cleansing the skin and reducing the chance of infection. Light liquid paraffin helps restore moisture in the skin.

Mechanism of action

Cleanses skin, prevents infection, and restores moisture.

Dosage

Adult, Adolescent, and Child Dose:

  • In an eight inch bath add 20 ml; in a four inch bath add 10 ml (Add 2.5-7.5 ml in approximately 40 litre of water). Mix well. Soak for 10-15 minutes. Gently pat the skin dry with a clean towel.

Infants over 6 months: Add 1 ml to a baby bath containing approximately 15 litres of water and mix well. Soak for 10-15 minutes

Elderly: No dosage adjustment required

Administration
  • Must always be used diluted in water
  • Do not use with soap
  • Use once daily
  • Do not exceed the recommended dose
