Pharmacology
Abhayarista contains Terminalia chebula, Vitis vinifera, Madhuca indica, Embelia ribes, Tribulus terrestris, Piper chaba, Coriandrum sativum, Zingiber officinale, Operculina turpethum and Salmalia malabarica. Together, these herbs provide mild laxative, digestive, carminative, antacid and anti-haemorrhoidal effects.
Dosage
Adults: 2–4 teaspoonfuls, 2–3 times daily. Children: 1–2 teaspoonfuls, 2–3 times daily.
Side effects
No significant side effects have been reported. Rarely, mild gastrointestinal discomfort or allergic reactions to herbal ingredients may occur.
Use in pregnancy
Not recommended during pregnancy unless advised by a healthcare professional.
