Indications

Bacterial conjunctivitis
Corneal ulcers
Acute otitis externa
Acute otitis media in pediatric patients with tympanostomy tubes
Bacterial infections and inflammation of the eye and ear

Dosage

Eye Dose (Adults & Children): 1 drop into conjunctival sac(s) every 4-6 hours. During initial 24-48 hours, may increase to 1 drop every 2 hours.

Ear Dose (Adults - Acute Otitis Externa): 4 drops into affected ear twice daily for 7 days.

Ear Dose (Pediatric - Acute Otitis Media with tympanostomy tube): 4 drops into affected ear twice daily for 7 days. <6 months: Not recommended.

Side effects

Application site irritation
Stinging in the eye
Blurred vision
Dizziness (vertigo)
Muscle weakness

Rare Side Effects: Allergic reactions, elevated intraocular pressure, glaucoma, cataract formation, superinfection.

Precautions & warnings

[UNSAFE] Ciprofloxacin 0.3% + Dexamethasone 0.1% E/E prep may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Dizziness, changes in eyesight or muscle weakness may occur.
Do not touch the tip to any surface to avoid contamination.
Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication to avoid dilution.
Do not use it more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
Inform your doctor if your condition hasn't improved after seven days of treatment.
Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
Contraindicated in herpes simplex, viral conditions, mycosis, glaucoma, and newborn babies.
