Bromelain + Trypsin is a combination enzyme preparation used in the treatment of inflammatory pains, soft tissue inflammation, and edema associated with trauma and surgery. It works by modulating multiple inflammatory signaling pathways to reduce swelling and pain.

Dosage
Initial dose: 2 tablets 3 times daily before meals.
Maintenance dose: 1 tablet 3 times daily before meals.
Note: In clinical studies, postoperative patients received 2 tablets 4 times daily for up to 10 days. Dosage may vary based on patient condition and physician's advice.
Side effects
- Bromelain may cause diarrhea and stomach and intestinal discomfort.
- Gastrointestinal issues such as bloating, nausea may occur (rare).
Precautions & warnings
- Patients allergic to pineapple, latex, wheat, celery, carrot, fennel, cypress pollen, or grass pollen may have an allergic reaction to bromelain.
- Bromelain may increase the risk of bleeding during and after surgery; inform your doctor before surgery.
- Caution if taking blood thinners (warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel).
