Pharmacology
Cytochrome C & Sodium Succinate promote ATP synthesis; Adenosine supports glutathione production and ion transport; Nicotinamide generates NADPH/ATP to protect lens cells against oxidative stress and free radicals.
Mechanism of action
Protects lens transparency by sustaining cellular energy (ATP) levels, supporting cell membrane transport, and neutralizing free radicals via reduced glutathione preservation.
Dosage
Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily, or as directed by the physician.
Administration
For ophthalmic use only. Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination. Wash hands before use.
Missed dose
Apply as soon as remembered. Skip if it is close to the next scheduled dose. Do not double the dose.
Side effects
Well tolerated. Mild temporary ocular discomfort or stinging sensation may occur in some patients.
Precautions & warnings
Do not inject or swallow. Allow at least 15 minutes between applications if using other eye drops.
