Dosage
Adult Dose (IV - Ventricular Arrhythmias):
- Bolus: 1-1.5 mg/kg slow IV over 2-3 minutes
- Repeat: 0.5-0.75 mg/kg in 5-10 minutes, up to 3 mg/kg total
- Continuous infusion: 1-4 mg/min IV
Regional Anesthesia (IV): 4 mg/kg
Epidural: Lumbar: 250-300 mg; Thoracic: 200-300 mg; Caudal (Obstetric): 200-300 mg

- Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching, and redness)
Precautions & warnings
- Do not apply to broken or infected skin
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and nose
- Do not cover with airtight dressings (risk of side effects)
