L-Lysine HCl 15% Topical is an essential amino acid used for prevention of infection in burns, cuts, wounds, abrasions, surgical incisions, decubitus or stasis ulcers. It promotes wound healing through active and controlled regeneration of cells and helps in collagen formation.
Indications
- Burns, cuts, wounds
- Abrasions, surgical incisions
- Decubitus or stasis ulcers
- Prevention of infection in chronic wounds and infected traumatic lesions
Dosage
Adult Dose (Topical):
- Use as often as required, preferably at intervals of 24, 48, or 72 hours
- Apply gel liberally after cleaning the wound area
Side effects
Slight itching sensation may occur at the application site.
