Pharmacology

Peppermint (menthol) provides cooling and analgesic effects; Camphor provides antispasmodic and hyperemic effects; Wintergreen (methyl salicylate) provides rubefacient and analgesic effects; Capsicum (capsaicin) reduces substance P to relieve neuropathy.

Dosage

Adult Dose (Topical):

  • Apply to affected area 2-3 times daily
  • Or as directed by the physician
