Daclatasvir is an antiviral medication used in combination with Sofosbuvir for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection in adults.
Indications
- Chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection (genotypes 1 and 3)
Dosage
Adult - HCV Genotype 1 (with Sofosbuvir): 60 mg (plus Sofosbuvir 400 mg) orally once daily for 12 weeks.
Adult - HCV Genotype 3 (with Sofosbuvir): 60 mg (plus Sofosbuvir 400 mg) orally once daily for 12 weeks.
Cirrhosis (Child-Pugh B or C) or posttransplant: 60 mg (plus Sofosbuvir 400 mg) + Ribavirin once daily for 12 weeks.
With strong CYP3A4 inhibitors: Reduce dose to 30 mg once daily.
With moderate CYP3A4 inducers: Increase dose to 90 mg once daily.

Serious Side Effects:
- Symptomatic bradycardia when coadministered with Sofosbuvir and Amiodarone
Precautions & warnings
- Daclatasvir may have significant drug interactions with other drugs, which may lead to loss of therapeutic effect or development of resistance.
- Risk of symptomatic bradycardia when coadministered with Sofosbuvir and Amiodarone.
- May affect your ability to drive (fatigue, dizziness, blurred vision).
- Monitor liver function and HCV viral load regularly during treatment.
- Do not stop taking Daclatasvir without your doctor's advice.
