Pharmacology
Dequalinium chloride belongs to the family of anti-infective and antiseptic drugs. Dequalinium chloride is active against the bacteria which cause bacterial vaginosis.
Dosage
Adult: 1 vaginal tablet daily for 6 days.
Side effects
Common: Vaginal discharge, vaginal itching or burning, vaginal yeast infection, thrush.
Other: Vaginal bleeding, vaginal pain, inflammation of vagina, headache, nausea.
Use in pregnancy
Should only be used during pregnancy if medically needed.
Pregnancy Category: N/A — always consult a doctor before taking during pregnancy.
Precautions & warnings
Intravaginal use of soaps, spermicides, and vaginal douches is not recommended during treatment. Unprotected sexual intercourse is prohibited during treatment. Should not be used within 12 hours before birth.
Overdose effects
Using a higher daily dose or increasing the recommended duration might increase the risk of vaginal ulcerations. Tell your doctor if you have used too many tablets.

Store below 30°C and dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
