Pharmacology
Active ingredients of Pudina work through multiple mechanisms: Menthofuran reduces gastric secretion acidity and increases pH; Menthol reduces inflammation, increases mucus production, and modulates PGE2 levels to protect against gastric ulcers; 1,8-Cineole acts as a cytoprotective agent, increases gastric mucus, inhibits gastric juice volume and acid output, and promotes gastric ulcer healing.
Dosage
Adult Dose (Oral):
- 1 tablet 1-2 times daily
