Indications
Applied to the skin for muscle and joint pain, sprains, arthritis and sports injuries.

Mechanism of action
Inhibits cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes, reducing local prostaglandins and thereby local pain and inflammation.
Dosage
Gently massage a small amount into the affected area 3–4 times daily; do not use for more than 2 weeks without medical advice.
Administration
External skin only; avoid broken skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Wash hands after use.
Missed dose
Apply when remembered; do not apply extra to catch up.
Side effects
Mild redness, itching or burning at the application site.
Precautions & warnings
Caution if allergic to aspirin/NSAIDs or if asthmatic; avoid heavy use over large areas.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen/NSAIDs; do not apply to wounds.
Drug interactions
Systemic absorption is low with topical use; still avoid combining with other NSAIDs excessively.
Food interactions

Use in pregnancy
