Dosage
Adult Dose (Intravenous):
- >50 kg: 1g up to 4 times daily by infusion over 15 min; max 4g/day
- 33-50 kg: 15 mg/kg body weight up to 4 times daily; max 60 mg/kg (up to 3g)/day
Pediatric Dose (Intravenous):
- >12 years, >50 kg: 1g up to 4 times daily by infusion over 15 min; max 4g/day
- 2-12 years (≤33 kg): 15 mg/kg body weight up to 4 times daily; max 75 mg/kg/day
- <10 kg: 7.5 mg/kg body weight up to 4 times daily

- Pain at injection site
Precautions & warnings
- Does not usually affect ability to drive
- Do not use with other paracetamol-containing products (to avoid overdose)
- Inform doctor if you have liver disease, severe kidney disease, or alcohol abuse
- Inform doctor if you experience nausea, weight loss, pale skin, or abdominal pain within first 24 hours (signs of overdose)
- Long-term use may require monitoring of liver, kidney, and blood components
