Myo-Inositol is used for the treatment and prevention of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), gestational diabetes mellitus, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, infertility, and miscarriage.
Indications
- PCOS associated symptoms (menstrual irregularity, anovulation, hirsutism, acanthosis nigricans, acne, obesity)
- PCOS associated infertility
- Gestational diabetes mellitus
- Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome
- Infertility
- Miscarriage
Dosage
Adult Dose (Oral):
- 2 tablets daily or as advised by physician
- Duration of treatment: at least 3 months or as advised by physician
Child Dose: Not applicable (PCOS and fertility treatment)
Side effects
Side Effects:
- Generally well tolerated in recommended dose
- Occasionally: Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Flatulence
