Dosage

Adult Dose (Oral):

200-500 mL for each loose motion

Pediatric Dose (Oral):

6-23 months: 50-100 mL for each loose motion
2-9 years: 100-200 mL for each loose motion
≥10 years: 200-500 mL for each loose motion

Side effects

Side Effects:

Hyponatremia (low plasma sodium concentration) - rare and limited

Precautions & warnings

Caution in significant overdose (especially children under 1 year, electrolyte imbalance, severely decreased kidney and liver function)
Do not use in severe vomiting, severe dehydration, severe diarrhea in infants, shock
