Pharmacology
Nigella Sativa contains triterpenes, limonoids, flavonoids and alkaloids which exhibit antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and immunomodulatory properties. Thymoquinone is the main active compound.
Dosage
Adult Dose (15 years+):
- 1 capsule twice daily
Pediatric Dose (5-15 years):
- 1 capsule daily or as directed by physician
