সাইনোসাইটিস, নাক বন্ধ হওয়া, মৌসুমি এবং বহুবর্ষজীবী অ্যালার্জিক রাইনাইটিস প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: অনুনাসিক ড্রপ: 2 বা 3 ফোঁটা প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের ফর্মুলা (0.1%) দিনে 2-3 বার। অনুনাসিক স্প্রে: প্রতিদিন 3 বার প্রতিটি নাকের ছিদ্রে 2-3টি স্প্রে করুন। প্রস্তুতির কোনো উপাদান একটি পরিচিত অতি সংবেদনশীলতা সঙ্গে রোগীদের contraindicated. Xylometazoline হল একটি প্রত্যক্ষ-অভিনয়কারী sympathomimetic যা শ্লেষ্মা ঝিল্লিতে প্রয়োগ করার সময় ফোলাভাব এবং কনজেশন কমিয়ে ভাসোকনস্ট্রিক্টর প্রভাব ফেলে। সাধারণভাবে ডিকনজেস্ট্যান্টের দীর্ঘায়িত ব্যবহার বা অপব্যবহার রিবাউন্ড কনজেশন বা ড্রাগ-প্ররোচিত রাইনাইটিস হতে পারে। উদ্বেগ, মাথা ঘোরা, কাঁপুনি, অতিরিক্ত ব্যবহার রিবাউন্ড কনজেশনের কারণ হতে পারে, টপিকাল পণ্য স্থানীয় পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া সৃষ্টি করতে পারে যেমন অনুনাসিক জ্বালা, দংশন, শুষ্কতা। সিবুট্রামিনের সাথে হৃদস্পন্দন বা BP বৃদ্ধি। সম্ভাব্য মারাত্মক: MAOIs-এর সাথে হাইপারটেনসিভ সংকট।
Indications
Sinusitis, Nasal congestion, Seasonal & perennial allergic rhinitis
Mechanism of action
Xylometazoline is a direct-acting sympathomimetic which has a vasoconstrictor effect by reducing swelling and congestion when applied to mucous membranes.
Dosage
Adult Dose: Adults: Nasal drop: 2 or 3 drops adult formula (0.1%) 2-3 times daily. Nasal spray: 2-3 sprays each nostril 3 times daily.
Side effects
Anxiety,Dizzy,Tremor,Overuse may cause rebound congestion,Topical products may cause local side effects such as nasal burning, stinging, dryness.
Precautions & warnings
The prolonged use or abuse of decongestants in general may lead to rebound congestion or drug induced rhinitis.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any ingredients of the preparation.
Drug interactions
Increased heart rate or BP with sibutramine. Potentially Fatal: Hypertensive crisis with MAOIs.
