Dosage

Adults and Children ≥12 years:

  • 5 g (1 sachet) dissolved in a glass of water; drink as symptoms occur
  • A second dose may be taken after 2-3 hours
  • Maximum daily dose: 2 sachets (10 g)
  • Maximum duration: 14 days
Side effects

Side Effects:

  • No significant side effects with proper use
  • Excessive use may cause electrolyte imbalance
Precautions & warnings
  • Do not use on sodium-restricted diets (hypertension, congestive heart failure) without medical advice
  • Caution in patients with impaired hepatic and renal function
  • Consult doctor if symptoms persist beyond 14 days
