Description
পেপটিক আলসার, ইনফ্যান্টাইল কোলিক, আপার জিআই ফোলা, কার্যকরী ডিসপেপসিয়া, স্পাস্টিক বা খিটখিটে কোলন খাওয়ার পরে এবং শোবার সময় নেওয়া উচিত প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: 40 থেকে 125 মিলিগ্রাম (0.6 থেকে 1.9 মিলি ড্রপ) দিনে 4 বার 500 মিলিগ্রাম/দিন পর্যন্ত (7.5 মিলি ড্রপ)। অথবা 1-3টি চিবানো যোগ্য ট্যাবলেট; প্রতিদিন 4 বার, 500 মিলিগ্রাম/দিন পর্যন্ত (12 চিবানো যোগ্য ট্যাবলেট)। 12 বছরের বেশি বয়সী শিশু: 40 থেকে 80 মিলিগ্রাম (0.6 থেকে 1.2 মিলি ড্রপ) দিনে 4 বার 500 মিলিগ্রাম/দিন পর্যন্ত (7.5 মিলি ড্রপ)। 2 থেকে 12 বছর বয়সী শিশু: 40 মিলিগ্রাম (0.6 মিলি ড্রপ) দিনে 4 বার। 2 বছরের কম বয়সী শিশু: 20 মিলিগ্রাম (0.3 মিলি ড্রপ) দিনে 4 বার 240 মিলিগ্রাম/দিন পর্যন্ত (3.6 মিলি ড্রপ)। Simethicone এর প্রতিষেধক সম্পর্কে কোন তথ্য নেই। গ্যাসের বুদবুদের পৃষ্ঠের উত্তেজনা পরিবর্তন করে এবং ফেনা বুদবুদগুলির পতন ঘটায়, এইভাবে গ্যাস সহজে যাতায়াতের অনুমতি দেয় এবং গ্যাস্ট্রোইনটেস্টাইনাল ট্র্যাক্টে গ্যাসের পকেট প্রতিরোধ করে। একজন চিকিত্সকের পরামর্শ এবং তত্ত্বাবধানে ব্যতীত প্রতিদিন 12 টির বেশি ডোজ ব্যবহার করা উচিত নয়। ওষুধটি শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে রাখুন। সিমেথিকোন শারীরবৃত্তীয়ভাবে নিষ্ক্রিয় এবং মৌখিকভাবে খাওয়ার পরে কোনও বিরূপ প্রভাবের খবর পাওয়া যায়নি। হারাকনো, অম্ন.

Peptic ulcer, Infantile colic, Upper GI bloating, Functional dyspepsia, Spastic or irritable colon
Mechanism of action
Changes surface tension of gas bubbles and causes collapse of foam bubbles, thus allowing easier passage of gas and preventing gas pockets in gastrointestinal tract.
Dosage
Adult Dose: Adults: 40 to 125 mg (0.6 to 1.9 ml drops) 4 times daily up to 500 mg/day (7.5 ml drops). OR 1-3 chewable tablets; 4 times daily, up to 500 mg/day (12 chewable tablets). Child Dose: Children older than 12 years of age: 40 to 80 mg (0.6 to 1.2 ml drops) 4 times daily up to 500 mg/day (7.5 ml drops). Children 2 to12 years of age: 40 mg (0.6 ml drops) 4 times daily. Children younger than 2 years of age: 20 mg (0.3 ml drops) 4 times daily up to 240 mg/day (3.6 ml drops).
Administration
Should be taken after meals and at bedtime
Side effects
Simethicone is physiologically inert and no adverse effect has been reported after oral ingestion. Loose stools.
Precautions & warnings
More than 12 doses per day should not be used, except under the advice and supervision of a physician. Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.
Contraindications
