Fluticasone Furoate Nasal spray is used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis such as runny nose, sneezing and sinus discomfort.
Indications
- Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis - in patients aged 2 years and older
- Prevention of recurrence of nasal polyps - following surgical removal
- Chronic rhinosinusitis - with or without nasal polyps in adults (93 mcg/spray strength)
Dosage
Adults & Children over 12 years:
- 2 sprays in each nostril once daily.
- May be increased to 2 sprays into each nostril twice daily (not exceeding 4 sprays).
Children (2-11 years):
- 1 spray in each nostril once daily.
- May be increased to 2 sprays in each nostril once daily if necessary.
Children under 2 years: Not recommended.

Common Side Effects:
- Nosebleeds
- Headache
- Nasal inflammation
- Drying of nose and throat
Precautions & warnings
Precautions:
- Avoid deep breathing while using the spray (medication may go to throat).
- Do not share the bottle with anyone else.
- Avoid in patients with recent nasal ulcers, nasal surgery, or nasal trauma.
- Stay away from someone having chickenpox, measles, or tuberculosis (may lower immune response).
