Description
ক্যালসিয়াম ইউরোলিথিয়াসিস, সায়ানাইড বিষক্রিয়া, ডায়ালাইসিস রোগীদের ক্যালসিফাইল্যাক্সিসের জন্য সেকেন্ডারি প্রতিরোধমূলক চিকিত্সা ওরাল এ 2 এম (মোলার) দ্রবণ 150 মিলি মুক্ত জলে 74.4 গ্রাম দিয়ে প্রস্তুত করা যেতে পারে; 2.6 গ্রাম মৌখিকভাবে প্রতিদিন বা সপ্তাহে 3 বার দেওয়া যেতে পারে। ডোজ ডায়রিয়া দ্বারা সীমিত। ওডিমেটাস সোডিয়াম ধরে রাখার শর্ত। থায়োসালফেট হল সালফার দাতা যা রোডেনেস সায়ানাইডকে কম বিষাক্ত থায়োসায়ানেটে রূপান্তর করতে ব্যবহার করে। সিসপ্ল্যাটিন বিষাক্ততা: না-থায়োসালফেট ডাব্লু/সিসপ্ল্যাটিনকে একত্রিত করে স্বাভাবিক/ক্যান্সার উভয় কোষের জন্য একটি জটিল ননটক্সিক গঠন করে। ক্যালসিয়ামের দ্রবণীয়তা বাড়ায়। চোখ, ত্বক এবং শ্বাস নালীর জ্বালা করতে পারে। অসমোটিক ব্যাঘাত। মৌখিক: ক্যাথারসিস (উচ্চ মাত্রায়)। প্ল্যাটিনাম উপাদানের দ্রুত রাসায়নিক নিষ্ক্রিয়তার মাধ্যমে সিসপ্ল্যাটিনের বিষাক্ততা হ্রাস করে।
Indications
Calcium urolithiasis, Cyanide poisoning, Secondary Preventive Treatment for Calciphylaxis in Dialysis Patients
Mechanism of action
Thiosulfate is sulfur donor utilized by rhodenase to convert cyanide to less toxic thiocyanate. Cisplatin toxicity: Na-thiosulfate combines w/ cisplatin to form a complex nontoxic to both normal/cancerous cells. Increases solubility of calcium.
Dosage
Adult Dose: Oral A 2 M (molar) solution can be prepared with 74.4 g in 150 mL free water; 2.6 g can be given orally daily or 3 times a week. Dose is limited by diarrhea.
Side effects
Osmotic disturbances. Oral: catharsis (at high doses).
Precautions & warnings
May irritate eyes, skin and respiratory tract.
Contraindications
Oedematous sodium-retaining conditions.
Drug interactions
Decreases toxicity of cisplatin through rapid chemical inactivation of its platinum component.
