Lyophilized Bacterial Lysate is an immunostimulating medicine used for the prevention of recurrent respiratory tract infections of the upper respiratory tract and bronchopulmonary tract. It strengthens the body's immune defenses against infections.
Indications
- Prevention of recurrent respiratory tract infections
- Prevention of acute infective exacerbations of chronic bronchitis
- COPD, asthma, allergic rhinitis
Dosage
Adults and 12 years+: 1 capsule daily on an empty stomach, 10 consecutive days/month, for 3 consecutive months
Children (6 months-12 years): 1 capsule (children's version) daily on an empty stomach, 10 consecutive days/month, for 3 consecutive months
Side effects
Common Side Effects:
- Headache
- Cough
- Diarrhea
- Abdominal pain
- Skin rash
Uncommon:
- Nausea, vomiting
- Hypersensitivity reactions (rash, urticaria, swelling, pruritus, dyspnea)
- Angioedema
- Fatigue
Precautions & warnings
- Discontinue immediately if allergic reactions or signs of intolerance occur
- Not recommended for prevention of pneumonia
- May affect ability to drive or use machines
